Course Overview

Business Skills for Growth provides twelve free short courses across the following key business areas:
  • E-Business
  • Creative Marketing
  • Enterprise Skills
  • Finance
  • Law
  • Leadership
  • Sustainability

Each course consists of:

  • A three hour workshop facilitated by a subject expert. The interactive nature of the workshop will allow networking with and learning from other participants.
  • An online learning facility where a range of additional material is available to enable further learning.
  • Online vodcasts*of local entrepreneurs discussing business issues and providing examples of best practice.

The content of the courses has been designed following research with local SMEs to identify the key areas for training and this has enabled the courses to be specifically tailored to meet the needs of small businesses in the Northeast of Scotland.

Business Skills for Growth is accredited by the Robert Gordon University and upon the satisfactory completion of all twelve courses and a portfolio of learning, participants will receive a partial SCQF qualification.
